I have been practicing pilates with Brenda for the past 5 years.
I love the studio because it’s small and friendly and I can always get personalised instruction,
even when the studio is full. And even though I’ve been doing it a while, Brenda can always
come up with something new to challenge me. I dance Argentine tango and pilates really
helps my dancing; I have better balance and posture and strength which all comes from
having a strong core.

I came to Pilates three years ago on the recommendation of my physiotherapist,
with the aim of achieving control over my longstanding head and neck “headaches”.
Not only have the headaches virtually ceased to occur other than in a very minor form,
but I have discovered a form of exercise which benefits my whole body and assists
in the rapid recovery of all other casual injuries which we incur in daily living
and through activities such as sport and gardening.
This is a studio which recognizes that people work at different paces and have very
individual needs in respect of good physical body management, as we progress beyond
the 50 years of age mark. There is always an instructor close by to advise and teach
at the individual level, or to provide specific one off injury management exercises.
It is my personal experience that it is truly said, that Pilates will change your body
shape for the better even though you may only attend the studio twice a week.
As an added bonus this studio has a warm friendly buzz in a relaxed environment.
I would encourage all women journeying through those changing and challenging years
to take hold of life, physical fitness, toning and strength through the Pilates methods.
